About

Welcome to my blog.

I have to admit that its taken me a few kicks at the blogging can before I decided that it was something I was going to do regularly. I’m often tied up with work, posting on or managing a few web forums, or life in general. Still, I think its important that we – as in everyone – begin to use the web as a means to spread ideas and information.

As much as I like videos of squirrels on water skis or jokes about Chuck Norris, it might behoove us as a species to actually do something worthwhile with the technology we develop.

My day job consists of being an IT Manager for a manufacturing company focussed in wireless and satellite communications. In the past I have worked for Microsoft, IBM, among others. On the one hand, its much more challenging working in a smaller organization, on the other there is something to be said for having the resources of a company like Microsoft at your disposal.

Currently I’m living in Burlington, Ontario with my wonderful wife, beautiful daughter, and cantankerous dog.

I hope you find my blog informative and I welcome your comments.
