Ezra Levant, the former publisher of the Western Standard, is no stranger to controversy. However, it would appear that in addition to being a victim of the star-chamber-like Human Rights Commission he is also the victim of malicious SLAPP (strategic litigation against public participation) lawsuits.

One Million Dollars!

That’s how much money has been trimmed from the Liberal Party’s research budget by the House of Commons. This is on top of the 1.6-million the Liberal’s will lose as a result of the drop in votes compared to the last election.

Stephane Dion sees his shadow.

After spending several days sequestered in Stornaway Stephane Dion has come out and seen his shadow.
Rather than step down as the leader of the Liberal Party, as was widely expected by the media, Mr. Dion has announced that he will remain as leader until the leadership convention next year.
