Trapped in Suburbia…

IT guy, code monkey, husband, father, target shooter, but unfortunately not independently wealthy.

I’ve been putting off coming back to blogging. Mainly because I’m so busy that I rarely get time to dedicate to my hobbies, let alone to blogging. But there’s an election in the air and that means that politicians will defiantly be at their dumbest. As proof I give you the following article in the Globe. Apparently Stephane Dion – the professor from Quebec – isn’t an academic at all (as if being an academic is a bad thing) but is instead “tough and manly”. My favorite part of the article is this:

Mr. Ashworth adds: “A family man, we meet his wife Janine Krieber and daughter Jeanne as they spend time together, skiing, talking and walking the family dog Kyoto. An avid outdoorsman, we can see why he’s so passionate about nature, we follow him enjoying time at the lake fishing, hiking and snowshoeing.”

Yup, an ‘avid outdoorsman’. When I read that I honestly pictured the following:

Dion has been Ruggedized…

And here I thought I wasn’t going to have anything to blog about…
